Dear Nail and Sail Participants,
Thank you very much for your support of Nail and Sail in support of Right To Play.
Despite the best efforts of our organizing committee, we have been unable to secure sufficient sponsor support to proceed with this year’s Nail and Sail and, regrettably, we have no choice but to cancel the event. As many of you know, over $90,000 was raised through last year’s event and, on behalf of the hundreds of thousands of children participating in our programming across 23 countries, I cannot thank you enough for your support.
Rest assured that the funds raised through Nail and Sail over the last two years have made a significant impact in our work. In fact the $90,000 raised equates to regular sport and play programming for over 1,800 children for an entire year. This is a truly amazing result, and, while it is regrettable that we will not be able to stage this year’s event, reaching this many children is a huge success.
